Description

Delightful crispy rings made from fresh banana peppers, perfect as an appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Fresh Banana Peppers
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 Eggs (beaten)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Olive Oil Spray

Instructions

  1. Slice the Banana Peppers into rings about half an inch thick and remove seeds.
  2. Create a Breading Station with flour, beaten eggs, and a mix of breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Bread each banana pepper ring by dredging in flour, dipping in egg wash, and coating with breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Arrange the coated rings in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  5. Spritz tops with olive oil to help them crisp up.
  6. Cook in the air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  7. Serve warm, ideally immediately after cooking.

Notes

For the best results, avoid overcrowding the air fryer and make sure to spray olive oil to prevent dryness.
